Shutting down parking structures at the 5th busiest airport in the world creates headaches for travelers and contractors alike. So, when updating the Central Terminal at LAX, ABM needed a faster, more accurate alternative to the manual, string and chalk method of line striping.
Solution
Using Dusty to lay out parking stalls at Los Angeles International Airport, ABM Industries reduced layout time by over 90%, allowing the garages to open back up faster than planned. Dusty was able to print parking stalls, directional arrows for entrances and exits, traffic flow indicators, and handicap line-markings. Results exceeded expectations:
